Ted’s Three Peaks Challenge

Jun 29, 2026 | News

Molly Ollys is honoured to have been supported by Ted, Pete, friends and family with their Three Peaks Challenge. 11 year old Ted has become only the second person in a wheelchair to complete this arduous challenge climbing the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales – and to do it in under 30 hours makes it even more remarkable.

16 incredible people gave up their weekend to take on this tough and inspiring challenge and in doing so have raised over £20,000 for Molly Ollys, with funds still coming in. The icing on the cake for Ted was having the incredible honour of being accompanied up Ben Nevis by Catherine HRH The Princess of Wales who was completing the challenge herself.

Ted is a real inspiration to so many children living with life-threatening illnesses. He is paraplegic following a diagnosis of spine cancer and Molly Ollys is delighted to have been able to support him during his treatment with a gift to help entertain him whilst in hospital. Since that time, Ted’s Dad Pete, Mum Jo and numerous family, friends and colleagues at Surespan Covers have been big supporters of Molly Ollys, and have become a very important part of the MO family.

Every donation, whatever size, helps a seriously unwell child

HELP MAKE WISHES COME TRUE

Current data suggests that 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every day, and that 1,900 children under the age of 14 in the UK are diagnosed each year.

More children are diagnosed with a range of other, often rare, conditions and illnesses that are also life-threatening.

Molly Ollys is committed to helping as many of these children and their families as possible, and works hard to raise the necessary funds to be able to help those who contact us.

You can help us do this by making a donation, joining in with our fundraising events, running your own events, using Give as You Live when you are shopping, and by leaving a legacy in your will. Please visit our How you can help page to find out more.
