MOLLY OLLYS

DONATING

Donating to support Molly Ollys

There are many ways to donate to Molly Ollys. Any amount, large or small is much appreciated and will be used to provide wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses, or to enable us to donate Olly The Brave and his story books free of charge to hospitals and directly to seriously unwell children.

Examples of ways in which you can help us support these children include regular or one-off donations, running fundraising events for us, employer/employee match funding schemes, supporting MOW fundraising events and purchasing for our online shop, and leaving a legacy to the Charity.

We are especially grateful for regular monthly donations, however small, as these help us plan the support we can offer. If you are able to help in this way, please use the details below to set up a standing order with your bank.

Massive thanks to everyone who helps us, in any way, big or small. #MOFamily

Together we can help enhance the lives of these very brave and treasured children, and make their dark days brighter

Other Ways Of Donating

Gift Aid

The Gift Aid scheme enables charities to claim an additional 25p from every £1 donated by individual UK taxpayers at no cost to the individual.

If you pay tax as an individual, Molly Olly’s Wishes will be able to claim Gift Aid on all the donations you make to us (whether a one-off donation or several), provided that we have a completed Gift Aid declaration form from you.

One signed form covers future and past donations (last four years).  Please email the completed form to rachel@mollyolly.co.uk or post it to us.

Match Funding

Many employers offer a match-funding scheme whereby money donated to a charitable organisation by an employee is matched by a donation from the employer.

If your employer offers such a scheme, this can be extremely beneficial to the Charity.

Please contact us to discuss how this could be used.

Leave a Legacy

Leaving a legacy enables you to support the Charity in a way which may not be practical or possible during your lifetime, and can be simply done by adding into a new will, or as a codicil to an existing will.

Legacy giving is highly tax effective as it reduces the overall Inheritance Tax on your estate, and is free of Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax.

Please see more details on our legacies page.

HELP MAKE WISHES COME TRUE

Current data suggests that 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every day, and that 1,900 children under the age of 14 in the UK are diagnosed each year.

More children are diagnosed with a range of other, often rare, conditions and illnesses that are also life-threatening.

Molly Ollys is committed to helping as many of these children and their families as possible, and works hard to raise the necessary funds to be able to help those who contact us.

You can help us do this by making a donation, joining in with our fundraising events, running your own events, using Give as You Live when you are shopping, and by leaving a legacy in your will. Please visit our How you can help page to find out more.
