10-year-old Hugo has raised over £1000 for Molly Ollys after he was moved watching Pride of Britain and “thought it would be nice if I could do something to help out people as well.”

Molly Ollys are so grateful to have Hugo supporting us and he has received a letter of recognition from Warwick and Leamington MP, Matt Western.

“It was great to have the chance to meet you and your class last month and discuss democracy and the general election. I was really impresses by everyone’s questions and knowledge.

“I wanted to write and congratulate you on your incredible fundraising efforts for Molly Ollys. To raise £1000 for charity is a huge achievement and you should be very proud of yourself. Your fundraising activities of the cake sale, adopt a bear stall and the dress down day were clearly successful and helped fundraise above and beyond your original target.

“I was delighted to read the your school has created a new Year Six Charity Ambassador role to continue the legacy of your brilliant work. This is a remarkable achievement, and you should be incredibly proud of yourself and the legacy you are leaving at your school. Congratulations Hugo!

“Well done – very impressive! Best Wishes, Matt. ”

Every donation, whatever size, helps a seriously unwell child

HELP MAKE WISHES COME TRUE

Current data suggests that 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every day, and that 1,900 children under the age of 14 in the UK are diagnosed each year.

More children are diagnosed with a range of other, often rare, conditions and illnesses that are also life-threatening.

Molly Ollys is committed to helping as many of these children and their families as possible, and works hard to raise the necessary funds to be able to help those who contact us.

You can help us do this by making a donation, joining in with our fundraising events, running your own events, using Give as You Live when you are shopping, and by leaving a legacy in your will. Please visit our How you can help page to find out more.
