Getting ‘in the swing’ at Molly Ollys golf day

Jul 14, 2025 | News

There was a sea of pink polo shirts as 80 golfers helped raise over £20000 at our 2025 golf day. It was the first time we’d held the event at Olton Golf Club, Solihull which was in pristine condition on a sunny June day.

One of the main highlights of the day was watching the trick-shot masterclass from Jeremy Dale, as he treated golfers to an array of skills before they played their 18-holes, aiming to win a number of individual and team prizes throughout the day. He also masterfully compered the auction as people generously made donations during the evening’s prize-giving.

The event was a huge success. We couldn’t have managed this without the fantastic organisation of Jeremy Nesbitt, Simon Cave and their support team, plus our very own Team Molly Ollys volunteers (even Olly The Brave played his part too!!).

Every donation, whatever size, helps a seriously unwell child

HELP MAKE WISHES COME TRUE

Current data suggests that 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every day, and that 1,900 children under the age of 14 in the UK are diagnosed each year.

More children are diagnosed with a range of other, often rare, conditions and illnesses that are also life-threatening.

Molly Ollys is committed to helping as many of these children and their families as possible, and works hard to raise the necessary funds to be able to help those who contact us.

You can help us do this by making a donation, joining in with our fundraising events, running your own events, using Give as You Live when you are shopping, and by leaving a legacy in your will. Please visit our How you can help page to find out more.
