Molly Ollys is delighted to say that we have some charity places available for the 2027 London Marathon!
As the buzz mounts for the 2026 event, perhaps you are watching enviously and thinking about your challenge for next year, or were unsuccessful getting a place this year? Now is the time to get in early and register your interest in a Molly Ollys charity place in the 2027 event. And you’ll have plenty of training time!
A Molly Ollys place will cost you £100 and we ask that each participant commits to raising a minimum of £2,500. We’ll provide you with a Molly Ollys running shirt and fundraising pack, and will help and support you as much as we can to raise these funds. Molly Ollys receives no government or committed funding and the Charity is entirely dependent for our income on individuals and organisations who are willing to help. We continue to receive an increasing number of requests for wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses or conditions, too many of whom are sadly palliative. Over the last two years we have seen an increase of approaching 25% each year.
The London Marathon is immensely popular with more and more applications each year. The public ballot is expected to be held in April with the results in July, but the likelihood of gaining a place through the ballot is low, so register now to find out when Molly Ollys charity places go live! We know that raising funds can feel uncomfortable but the London Marathon is such an iconic event that family, friends and colleagues are very likely to be supportive of you taking on this challenge. We will support you to help achieve your pledge.
