Apr 28, 2025 | News

Sunday 27th April was Super Sunday with supporters raising funds for Molly Ollys in London, Manchester, Nottingham and Stratford-Upon-Avon!

First off, a huge thank you to our London Marathon runners who collectively raised over £8500 so big thanks to Hannah from Grenfell James, Isaac from Feldon Dunsmore and Sebastian. An amazing achievement and run in very hot conditions. Hannah even got the crowds cheering “Molly Olly Ollys!!”.

Thank you to Deputy Headteacher, Jackie who ran the Manchester marathon as a thank you for the support we had given to one of her pupils. What a top teacher and she raised over £400.

Thank you to our seven local supporters who ran in the Shakespeare Half Marathon. Harry, Max, Henry, Jess, Oliver, Ella and Jemima all did brilliantly and raised over £1300.

Finally, thank you to our Nottingham fundraisers from Avanti Print Limited. Holly, Caitlin and the team very kindly organised a charity football match that took place at Long Eaton FC on Sunday. It was a great turnout with many family and friends supporting the players and an exciting game ended in a 3-3 draw. The event raised over £840 . Their fundraising didn’t stop with the fulltime whistle as they have planned the Snowdon Sunrise challenge in June. Thank you to everyone involved in the day.

Every donation, whatever size, helps a seriously unwell child

HELP MAKE WISHES COME TRUE

Current data suggests that 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every day, and that 1,900 children under the age of 14 in the UK are diagnosed each year.

More children are diagnosed with a range of other, often rare, conditions and illnesses that are also life-threatening.

Molly Ollys is committed to helping as many of these children and their families as possible, and works hard to raise the necessary funds to be able to help those who contact us.

You can help us do this by making a donation, joining in with our fundraising events, running your own events, using Give as You Live when you are shopping, and by leaving a legacy in your will. Please visit our How you can help page to find out more.
