DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT! We’re delighted that all of our charity places for the London Landmarks Half Marathon have now been allocated. If you missed out but would like to be on our waiting list\, please email sue@mollyolly.co.uk\n\nThe London Landmarks Half Marathon is one of the most popular Half Marathons\, with a route through Westminster and the City\, passing some of London’s most iconic sights. Molly Ollys has a number of charity places for the event. Unfortunately\, we’re not able to offer a place to everyone\, but if you are interested please complete the application form as soon as possible. To give yourself the best chance of securing a place\, be sure to give detailed answers to the questions in the “my application” section of this form.\nA Molly Ollys charity place costs only £30. We ask\, however\, that you help our work supporting children with life-threatening illnesses and conditions\, by raising a minimum of £300.  Molly Ollys receives no government funding and all of the services we provide are funded by people such as yourselves wanting to help support these children and their families who are going through the most challenging situations. Year on year we receive a significant increase in wish applications (this year 20% more than last)\, reflecting a growing demand for our services partly due to increased awareness and partly because the cost of living crisis has pushed more families into a position where they need help. To meet this increase we need to raise significantly more funds\, and the London Landmarks Half Marathon is a fantastic opportunity to help with this. \n[Photo credit : Nigel Pacquette www.nigel.london]

DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT!!! All our Charity places are now filled for the 2026 London Marathon. Get in touch if you would like to be on our waiting list\, or to be considered for a 2027 London Marathon place. \nIf you are successful in the general ballot\, you can still run to raise funds for us. Please contact us and we will be delighted to support you throughout your training and the event. \nMolly Ollys is delighted to say that we have a limited number of places available for the 2026 London Marathon! \nAlthough it is still early in 2025\, perhaps you are looking for a longer term challenge\, or were unsuccessful getting a place for the 2025 London Marathon? Now is the time to get in early and apply for a place in the 2026 event. And you’ll have plenty of training time! \nA Molly Ollys place will cost you £100 and we ask that each participant commits to raising a minimum of £2\,500. We’ll provide you with a Molly Ollys running shirt and fundraising pack\, and will help and support you as much as we can to raise these funds. Molly Ollys receives no government or committed funding and the Charity is entirely dependent for our income on individuals and organisations who are willing to help. We continue to receive an increasing number of requests for wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses or conditions\, too many of whom are sadly palliative. Over the last two years we have seen an increase of approaching 25% each year. \nThe London Marathon is immensely popular with more and more applications each year. The public ballot is expected to be held in April with the results in July\, but the likelihood of gaining a place through the ballot is low\, so apply for a place now with Molly Ollys and you will know before the ballot opens whether you have a confirmed charity place. We know that raising funds can feel uncomfortable but the London Marathon is such an iconic event that family\, friends and colleagues are very likely to be supportive of you taking on this challenge. We will support you to help achieve your pledge. \nApply here for one of our 2026 London Marathon places! We do ask that the entry fee of £100 is paid at the same time as you submit your application form. We will let you know if you have been successful as quickly as possible and will refund your entry fee if not.
