Charity Raceday raises enough to pay for 5 wishes for 5 children with life-threatening illnesses

On 21st April, we raised £2,728 from the fabulous ‘Molly Ollys Charity Race Day’ at Warwick Racecourse.

Rooftop Adventures, Reflexology at Falcon Barn, Susie Barley Cakes and Warwick Sports Shop are some of the businesses which donated prizes to us for our raffle. We are so grateful as this allowed us to raise much-needed funds.

Guests enjoyed a fun afternoon of racing, betting, eating and enjoying themselves. We always need prizes or gifts which can be used to raise funds through auctions and raffles so if you have anything you or your business could offer us, we’d love to hear from you.

We’ll be holding a Ball later this year for around 500 guests with meal, entertainment and live and silent auctions with about 40 lots, so we are on the hunt for some lovely prizes or gifts that we can use for that.

Donated items for these auctions and raffles help us considerably by removing the need for the Charity to buy items.

We’re grateful for a wide range of gifts including things like sporting memorabilia, jewellery, overnight stays, meals, golf course rounds, loan of a holiday home for a week (if you are lucky enough to have one!)

We’re happy to give publicity to our donors in recognition of their gift. Get in touch if you think you can help. Email – thank you.

Every donation, whatever size, helps a seriously unwell child

Current data suggests that 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every day, and that 1,900 children under the age of 14 in the UK are diagnosed each year.

More children are diagnosed with a range of other, often rare, conditions and illnesses that are also life-threatening.

Molly Ollys is committed to helping as many of these children and their families as possible, and works hard to raise the necessary funds to be able to help those who contact us.

You can help us do this by making a donation, joining in with our fundraising events, running your own events, using Give as You Live when you are shopping, and by leaving a legacy in your will. Please visit our How you can help page to find out more.
